Cuba, Japan News Agency (French)-Japanese ACE Kei Nishikori defeated Denis Istomin take lead 3-1 ytbrero over Uzbekistan to get at for a group of the Davis Cup.
Nishikori, who won the first doubles also matches, on Sunday scored a 6-7 (5/7), winning 7-5, 6-4, 6-3 in the best-five of the Asia-Oceania Group one second round tie.
Nishikori was ranked 68th Board against this week's Istomin.
He gave Uzbekistan kickstart beating Ito Tatsuma opening on Friday, but Farrukh Dustov abandoned the second singles match because of dehydration before Nishikori Nishikori and Soeda beyond doubles on Saturday.
